We are a Vancouver based company that specializes in European style cakes. Because we believe that cakes should not only look good but taste good too(if not better)!
What does "European style" mean? Well - it's all about the flavors and textures. The cakes are not as sweet as buttercream cakes, although sweetness can be adjusted by taste. Some key ingredients: butter, baking chocolate, eggs, nuts, vanilla, milk, fruit - and as little flour as possible. Cakes are also covered/decorated with whipped cream instead of buttercream or fondant. Because of the high moisture content in the cakes, (most) are not an ideal candidate to be covered in fondant. With that said, European cakes don't sit out of the fridge during weddings or birthdays, but are brought out just before being cut. We may be biased, but we think cakes just taste better when cold !
